New health professions are emerging as a result of increasing life expectancy, aging of populations and rapid advances in medical technology. The demand for qualified and specified health professionals is increasing as disease patterns and health services change and it is obvious that the importance of health professions will continue to increase in the forthcoming years. Faculty of Health Sciences was established to educate and train the highly-qualified professionals needed for the national and international health services.

Our faculty had started three undergraduate programs in the year 2008-2009: "Nutrition and Dietetics", "Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation" and "Nursing and Health Sciences". Graduates of these programs will get the titles "Dietician", "Physiotherapist" and "Nurse" respectively. These programs were prepared in accordance with the standards of national and international professional organizations as well as the requirements of the Turkish health sector. The fourth undergraduate program titled "Occupational Therapy" will start recruiting students in the academic year 2009-2010.  All undergraduate programs are eight semesters and language of instruction is English. There is Preparatory School for candidates who fail in English proficiency examination.
