Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) in India, USA, and Yeditepe University (YTU) in Istanbul, Turkey, have collaborated to offer a joint Logistic Systems Management and Engineering degree program. This newly formatted program will be offered at Yeditepe University over a one year period, with courses taught at both Purdue and Yeditepe by faculty from both institutions.
At the end of the program two M.Sc. diplomas from IUPUI and Yeditepe will be given to the successful students.
The program has been approved by Indiana State and the Turkish Higher Education Council.
Logistics has become one of the most important and critical areas in the competitive global economic market. The importance of development and logistics have been increasing.
The goal of this program is to bring up the required brain power needed in the management of logistics of Logistics Field and Industrial and Commercial Institutions for a competitive and sustainable success in today and tomorrows global competitive environment.
Logistics is not a plain subject or discipline like most other professions. It is a working field that arises as a synthesis encompassing several subjects and disciplines. The goal of the program is to fulfill these multifaceted information requirements.
Another aspect of this particular education is to develop student's investigating mind. This will facilitate them to grasping and tackling any foreign material that they may newly encounter in their academic and business life.
In the framework of the information above, we believe that our students will graduate,
