We are pleased to be your host while living and learning in the Republic of Turkey.
Turkey is world famous for her warm hospitality and our International Office is always open to welcome you and help find solutions to your questions.
The student body of the University continues to steadily develop and grow by attracting students from around the globe.
All international students are welcome to the educational experience and cultural diversity on campus at Yeditepe University as well as the broader environment found in the fascinating city of Istanbul where the historically ancient mix with the technically modern, the East meets the West, and the differences of culture, music, languages, cuisine, religions and philosophies are bridged through education.
The International Office is instrumental in assisting the new international students in becoming familiar with the school and active participants in the life of the university. Whenever there is a question that needs answering, or a guide in the right direction, the program coordinators and student assistants provide advice, friendship, and general support in finding solutions.
New international students should report to the office, located on the 2nd floor of the Rector's building on the main campus, in order to confirm immigration status, student registration status, and receive information on housing, restaurants, a map of the campus, as well as general orientation on registration procedures.
Housing for international students can be arranged in one of the modern Residence Halls located on the main campus. All rooms are double occupancy and furnished with computer hookup capabilities with in-house snack bars, TV rooms, and visitor salons. The Main Campus lodgings can accommodate 1800 students. New international students are recommended to live on campus and they can inquire at the International Office for availability and reservation procedures. Be sure to confirm room reservations as soon as possible.
Some students may prefer to live off-campus. There are many apartments available to rent throughout the city. Depending on the preferences of the students, living off campus may be the best choice. While living off-campus the students will be able to experience the daily rhythmn of an ancient city transformed into a modern metropolis as well as the night-life that Istanbul has to offer.
Turkey has a strong tradition of international interaction in all aspects of her political, economical, and cultural history.
Education has been a major keystone in developing these international relations. The university is proud to be a participating institution to the greater goal of international cooperation in all fields.
International projects and student and faculty exchanges are ongoing operations with new developments and dimensions constantly evolving.
