Incidence of Thyroid Cancer Increased by 185 Percent

A new study published in JAMA, one of the most respected international medical journals, showed that the incidence of thyroid cancer has increased by 185% worldwide. Turkey is also included in the study, which includes 195 countries. Another important result of the study is that while death rates due to thyroid cancer are increasing in the world, this rate is decreasing in Turkey.
