Yeditepe University and ÇAYKUR are collaborating for producing organic fertilisers

Yeditepe University’s collaborative project with ÇAYKUR was launched with a ceremony organized at Senoz Valley, Çayeli, Rize. Along with Prof. Dr. Nurcan Baç, President of Yeditepe University and İmdat Sütlüoğlu, General Director of ÇAYKUR, senior officials from ÇAYKUR and many important scientists attended the ceremony. The project aims at the identification and production of the fertilisers to be used in organic tea fields within the collaborative project of ÇAYKUR and Yeditepe University. ÇAYKUR Research Institute and Yeditepe University Department of Bioengineering will be involved in the project.

At the end of the ceremony, liquid fertilisers were used on some tea fields in Yeşiltepe village with a specially designed device brought from Istanbul and named GOMA.
