Yeditepe University 10 Department of Oral Implantology Thesis Master’s Program Oral Implantology is a field that has been developing and receiving attention all over the world and in our country. Oral Implantology is a scientific discipline that treats missing teeth in the most natural looking way by placing artificial tooth roots. Another field of application is providing denture stability for patients who do not have teeth at all. It may also contain applications that allow the patient to have a fixed prosthesis in cases where it is convenient to make a removable prosthesis by conventional methods alone. The curriculum consists of both theoretical and practical courses. Different theoretical courses are given in 4 different semesters. Some of these courses are given by the Oral Implantology Department and some courses are given jointly by other departments. At the end of the 4 semesters, it is necessary to complete 21 credit points. In addition to this, practical applications are firstly applied on models and later on patients.
