Yeditepe University participated in the charity marathon “Runatolia 2018 Antalya Marathon” as "Yeditepe Hope Runners".
This year we participated for the second time with a total of 46 people with contributions by Make a Wish Volunteers, Sports and Psychology clubs, and the participation of club members, students and 4 employees. On the last day of your three day event, Yeditepe University Hope Runners ran the 10K in the event that consisted of a 42K marathon, a 21K half marathon and a 10K charity run.
In this year’s charity run, supporters collected total of 1 million 450 thousand TL for 24 non-governmental organizations.
The donations collected by Yeditepe University Hope Runners on behalf of KAÇUV will be used for the II. Family House made for children who receive cancer treatment. The Family House will provide accommodation services for children and their families who have come to Istanbul for treatment but have to leave all their lives behind and do not have the financial means.
Campaigns will be open for another 2 weeks even though the run is over.
